URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator and it is used as the address of resources on the Internet, such as web pages, online files, etc. In more simple words, a URL is the address of a web page or any other resource that is online on the Internet.

Permalink stands for “Permanent Link”. As the name implies, a permalink is a URL that is intended to remain unchanged in the future, thus allowing third parties to reference this URL without worrying that it will change.
